CESC Ltd has annnounced that in respect of the Placement of Equity Shares of the Company under Chapter XIII-A of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Disclosure and Investor Protection Guidelines), 2000 (“the SEBI Guidelines”), the Company has informed that on the basis of applications received within December 07, 2007, the bid closing date, 95,60,000 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each of the Company have been allocated by the Company on December 08, 2007 to Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) at the price of Rs 618 per share. The last date for making payment by the QIBs is December 12, 2007 and details of allotment of the said shares will be furnished in due course
