National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) and the Ministry of Railways have signed an agreement on November 06, 2007 for the formation of a Joint Venture Company namely “Bhartiya Rail Bijlee Company Ltd” for setting up a captive power plant of 1000 MW(4X250 MW) at Nabinagar, Bihar.
