GSK Pharma signs Co-production agreement with Daiichi Sankyo for anti-hypertensive drug
GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals announced that it had signed a co-production agreement with Japanese drug maker Daiichi Sankyo for anti-hypertensive drug Olmesartan Medoxomil and its combination products.
GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare`s (GLAXOCON) principal activities include manufacture and distribution of a wide range of healthcare foods, drugs, pharmaceuticals and dairy products. The products include malted milk food, malted foods, biscuits, energy and protein foods, milk powders, ghee, milk fluid and milk cream. The group exports to Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Middle East, Nepal and other markets.
The Gurgaon-based R&D center of GLAXOCON has been fully functional. The company plans to leverage its expertise in the food processing industry to innovate and serve the domestic consumers who are becoming more and more health conscious. GLAXOCON wants to improve its out-of-home business by boosting its vending business.
