Is msft's bid to buy yhoo is to better its position against goog for it's own ego ( the wrong reason ), or to strengthen its shareholder equity ( the right reason )?
Microsoft was doing quite well with great earnings and strong stock performance while yahoo was self destructing.
I was fortunate to be a stockholder. Since the yhoo bid msfts value has eroded almost to the approx. 44 billion bid and may take years to recover.
I now feel unfortunate to be a msft stockholder!
