Reliance power ipo refund will stat from 1st Feb to 4 Feb 2007
People who applied from online share trading sites like icicidirect.com or Kotak etc. will probably get refund money direct to there Bank account.
All other people will get Reliance power refund by Registered post in 1 week from 4 Feb 2007. If any one have problem with refund contact Reliance power registrar karvy.
The Reliance Power initial public offering raised total Rs 11,600 crore, opened on January 15 and closed on January 18 which subscribed 73 times.

if u applied thru icici direct - even then you will get refund thru registered post so that the ambanis and kamats use ur money to milk you and india dry -

My mom, Prabhavathi .N had applied for Reliance Power IPO and have been allocated 16 shares. The application number is 11110723 which was taken on 15/01/08 transacted through ICICI Direct.com.

Please let me know when will be the amount refunded to the account.

hi all
i have applied for Reliance POwer IPO I have allotted 16 shares but even today on 22th february i have not got back the balance amount refund .my application number is 57920201and my DP Client ID is 1202990005245518.also the customer care number 18003454001 is never found free as if it is a recorded message.i tried to contact customer care officer more than 15 times with no result.also i send 20 emails and i got one reply said this connection that they had send my refund on 2nd feb. but there are some mistake in address so the post is undilivered and returned but i provide correct address to karvy. then they said that redispatched on 18th feb. but still today i not found it .this is very annoying.i tried other teleohne numbers also but they too always say”busy”.there is no way to contact theses KARVY people really surprising.i am also needing the money urgently.freind plz help me i am in very trouble and i need money very urgent

For ALL people who still not received Reliance Power refund.

First contact your postal office & inquire about your letter as all refund orders are “Registered post packets” they never lost, either letter get delivered or get back to registrar (karvy).
As any ipo gets 5-10 lack applications but reliance power got 47 lack applications so karvy, Indian post are in tremendous strain to dispatch all refund orders so wait at least a month to get refund from allotment date.

Other options are
1 contact karvy by email/web contact form
2 Write a letter with short details & send to Karvy by REGISTERED POST not by couriers
3 physically go to your local karvy office (they have 100+ offices)

Who has not recd. refund of RPOWER, go on sebi’s website http://www.sebi.gov.in > Investor complaints & fill the details & write an short massage & submit.

After 8 days you will receive an reply from Karvy that:

“Dear Investor,

We have noted the contents of the mail and shall revert to you on this matter Shortly.

Kindly bear with us till such time.

Dear Sir,
I have 3-1 account with you ( ICICI ) and doing on line trading. I am living in Dubai.
I applied for the reliance power IPO for 225 shares through http://www.ICICIdirect.com. the 17 shares allotted but the remaining amount not yet credited/refund in my account so far. I called many times to karvy office, as per them the cheque already dispatched on 02-02-2008 to my mailing address,( Dept. MC-1, Dubai Aluminium Co. Ltd, P.O. Box 3627, Dubai, UAE ), but I did not receive so far, even though I check with my post office also. Already more than one month passed but still waiting for your said cheque. Is Karvy computer shares pvt ltd is playing with the customer or don’t want to refund the amount. I got one mail from karvy office for the order no ( RL no. 1559112 ). What shall I do for this number. The customer need their refund as soon as possible. This is online trading and the refund should be credited through ECS in my account.

This is with reference to the above subject. We have applied for Reliance POWER IPO through Reliance Money. The total share that has been applied is 225. Our Application number is 51889442. When we speak to Registrar : Kary Computerware, we get answers like we have been alloted shares. When we look in our DP account 1203500000213481 there is some shares alloted. When we ask for a refund, they say the amount has been sent long back. We haven’t received any amount so far.

I have send the bank statement to Karvi computer they confirm that the check will come to you very soon but still I m in wait help me

Some people filed online complaint against Karvy(Reliance power registrar) online on http://www.sebi.gov.in so we recommend to file a complaint against Karvy and Reliance power on http://www.sebi.gov.in also visit Karvy local office in your city.
I hope this will solve your Refund Problem.
