Corporation Bank has announced that the Bank has been informed by the Indian Banks’ Association that the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has given a call for strike on January 25, 2008 throughout the country in support of some of their demands. A section of the Bank’s employees may take part in the proposed strike on the said day, if the strike materialises. In view of this, it is likely that the normal functioning of the Bank’s Branches may get affected.
