Winsome Yarns – Commissioning of Micro Hydel Power Projects
Winsome Yarns Ltd has announced that as a step towards cost effectiveness, the Company undertook installation of five Mini Hydro Power Projects in Punjab with total power potential of 3900 KW, allotted by Punjab Energy Development Board (PEDA).

The civil work at all the five sites is under progress. The Company expect to start commercial production at first site at Barewal by February, 2009 and at other sites subsequently in next six months. With the commissioning of these projects the Company expects considerable improvement in the profits.
